The repeating themes, the eerie sense of a connected web, yes to all of it. Cheering for you and the brave women in Ohio. I don’t know that the full picture will ever be uncovered but it sure doesn’t need to be as cloudy and dark as it was 17 years ago when I first began looking for people to help me understand what the actual boba juice was going on in my Mennonite family.

I’m so proud of you even though we haven’t met

I’m also grateful for what you’re doing and sharing

The boba juice 😂😂 I'm so glad you're here, and thank you so much for the encouragement! I've learned a LOT over the years and can really see even in these initial recordings how much more I understand. I think you're so right, there's so much more light on the issues, far less murky. Taking a break and coming back to putting out content is wild, there's so much more interest in learning about the issues and talking than there used to be. Encouraging!

Damn. This is so heavy, yet not surprising. My Pastor, Tim Keller, often pointed out that every virtue has a corresponding weakness. In this case, and from my limited viewpoint, an insular community - virtuous if it's about the protection and flourishing of it's people -- is a lovely virtue except when co-opted by fear-driven leaders. You chose the word "evil" carefully and apparently, reluctantly. It works. "Insidious" is another. Looking forward to listening.
